「ニッカ カフェグレーン」は、世界でも稀少な“カフェ式連続式蒸溜機”でつくられた味わい深いグレーンウイスキーです。一般的なグレーンウイスキーに比べ、原料由来の甘さがしっかりと残っているのはカフェ式だからこそ。ニッカのブレンデッドウイスキーにあるまろやかな余韻は、この「カフェグレーン」のほのかな甘さにあるといえるのです。ブレンデッドウイスキーのベースとしてだけではもったいない、この奥深い味わいをお愉しみください。

〈テイスティングノート〉

香り：ウッディなバニラ香、クッキーのような香ばしさ。カスタードクリーム、チョコレート、砂糖を焦がしたような甘い香り。カフェグレーンならではの軽快な伸びのある芳香。

味わい：クリーンで軽やかな舌ざわり、ウッディさを伴うバニラ、蜂蜜様の味わい。軽快なボディ感と共にすっきりと消えていく。

“Nikka Coffey Grain” is a richly flavorful grain whisky crafted using the rare Coffey continuous still, a method seldom seen around the world. Compared to typical grain whiskies, it retains a pronounced natural sweetness derived from the raw ingredients—something only possible through the Coffey still. The mellow, lingering finish found in Nikka’s blended whiskies can be attributed to the gentle sweetness of Coffey Grain. Its remarkable depth of character makes it far too special to be enjoyed only as a base for blends—please savor its complexity on its own.

〈Tasting Notes〉

Nose: Woody vanilla aromas with a toasty, cookie-like fragrance. Sweet notes of custard cream, chocolate, and caramelized sugar. A light, elegant aroma with the characteristic lift of Coffey Grain.

Palate: Clean and light on the palate, with vanilla and honey-like sweetness accompanied by gentle woodiness. Light-bodied and smooth, fading away with a crisp, refreshing finish.
