ヘーゼルバーンはスプリングバンク蒸溜所で、ノンピート麦芽を使用し3 回蒸溜で
つくられるシングルモルト。キャンベルタウンモルトの復興を目指し、1925 年に閉
鎖された蒸溜所の名前を冠して1997 年からつくられています。
ヘーゼルバーン8 年 シェリーウッドはオロロソシェリー樽原酒のみを贅沢に使用
した8 年熟成で、ベストの味わいで楽しめる度数でボトリングされています。

香りは甘く心地よいシナモンのアロマに続いて、ココアパウダー、クランベリー、レ
ッドカラントが広がります。味わいはミックスベリーに始まり、ストロベリー味のバブ
ルガム、トフィープディング、ブラックベリーが続きます。フィニッシュにはヘーゼル
ナッツ、クルミが加わり、味わいに奥行きを与えます。

スプリングバンク蒸溜所はモルティングからボトリングまでの工程を同一敷地内で
すべて行っている数少ない蒸溜所で、「スプリングバンク」、「ロングロウ」、「ヘーゼルバーン」という3 つのタイプの異なるシングルモルトを生産しています。

Hazelburn is a single malt produced at the Springbank Distillery using unpeated malt and triple distillation. Reviving the tradition of Campbeltown malts, it has been crafted since 1997, taking its name from a distillery that closed in 1925.

The Hazelburn 8 Year Old Sherry Wood is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks for 8 years and bottled at a strength designed to showcase its best character. 

On the nose, it opens with a sweet and pleasant cinnamon aroma, followed by cocoa powder, cranberries, and redcurrants.
On the palate, flavors of mixed berries lead into notes of strawberry bubblegum, toffee pudding, and blackberries. The finish brings in hazelnuts and walnuts, adding depth to the profile.

The Springbank Distillery is one of the few distilleries where every stage of production, from malting to bottling, is carried out on the same site, producing three distinct styles of single malt: Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn.
