日本初のモルトウイスキー蒸溜所である山崎蒸溜所でつくられ、100年以上にわたる日本のウイスキーづくりの思想と技術が、この一本に凝縮されています。

山崎蒸溜所は、京都と大阪の境に位置し、三つの川が合流する湿潤な気候に恵まれた土地にあります。この環境が、山崎らしいふくよかで複雑な香味を育んできました。

12年以上熟成した複数タイプのモルト原酒をヴァッティングすることで、熟成由来の厚みと、日本的な繊細さがバランスよく表現されています。

Yamazaki 12 Years Old is a single malt Japanese whisky produced by Suntory.
Crafted at the Yamazaki Distillery—Japan’s first malt whisky distillery—this expression embodies more than a century of Japanese whisky-making philosophy and craftsmanship.

Located on the border of Kyoto and Osaka, the Yamazaki Distillery sits in a humid environment where three rivers converge. This unique climate has long contributed to the distillery’s signature style: rich, rounded, and complex aromas and flavors.

By vatting multiple types of malt whiskies aged for at least 12 years, Yamazaki 12 achieves a balance between the depth that comes from extended maturation and the delicacy characteristic of Japanese whisky.
