キャンベルタウンモルトの真髄を極めた1本として、全世界の愛好家から特別な存在として認識されている長期熟成品です。

2024年リリースとなる本ロットは、バーボン樽熟成原酒を85%、シェリー樽熟成原酒を15%使用。
熟成年数30年という長い時を経た原酒のみを使用しながらも、加水調整によってアルコール度数46%に整えられており、飲み手に寄り添ったバランスの良い構成となっています。

使用されている原酒は、蒸溜所独自の「2回半蒸溜」製法によって生まれたスピリッツ。
これは通常のスコッチウイスキーの2回蒸溜とは異なり、初溜（ローワイン）を一部再度蒸溜する独自の工程で、重厚さと滑らかさを両立したスプリングバンクならではの個性を生み出します。
また原料の大麦は、蒸溜所内のフロアモルティングで製麦されたもの。大手メーカーが省略しがちなこの工程も、スプリングバンクでは創業当初から守り続けられており、「造り手の手が届く範囲で仕上げる」という哲学の象徴となっています。

香り立ちは華やかで、熟したピーチ、完熟したハチミツ、ゴムハニー、そしてクリーミーなチョコレートやトロピカルフルーツのニュアンスが層のように立ち上がります。
さらに時間経過とともに、古書を思わせるレザーの香気が加わり、奥行きを生み出します。
味わいは生き生きとした印象がありながらも深く、タンジェリンオレンジ、ブラックベリー、マラスキーノチェリー、ダンネージ式熟成庫に由来する湿ったウッディネスが全体をまとめ上げています。

生産本数は全世界で限られており、日本国内への入荷はわずか150本のみ。
スプリングバンクが手がける“クラシックでモダンなウイスキー”の最終到達点ともいえる一本であり、その味わいには熟成という時の流れと、手間を惜しまぬクラフトマンシップのすべてが注がれています。

Springbank 30 Year Old is the pinnacle of matured single malt from the esteemed Springbank Distillery.
Representing the true essence of Campbeltown malt, this long-aged expression holds a revered place among whisky enthusiasts worldwide.

The 2024 release comprises 85% bourbon cask-matured whisky and 15% sherry cask-matured whisky.
Despite its 30 years of aging, the whisky has been bottled at a gentle 46% ABV through careful dilution, offering a perfectly balanced profile that remains approachable without compromising depth.

The spirit itself is crafted using Springbank's unique “2.5-times distillation” method.
Unlike the conventional double distillation used in most Scotch production, Springbank partially redistills a portion of the low wines, resulting in a spirit that beautifully marries weight and elegance.
Moreover, the malted barley used is entirely floor-malted on site—a labor-intensive process largely abandoned by modern distilleries, yet faithfully preserved by Springbank since its founding. This hands-on approach is central to their philosophy of craft: to produce whisky entirely within reach of the maker’s hand.

On the nose, it is rich and layered—evoking ripe peach, heather honey, waxy sweetness, and creamy chocolate, with tropical fruit undertones gradually revealing themselves.
As it breathes, leathery notes reminiscent of old libraries emerge, adding impressive depth and maturity.
The palate is vibrant yet profound, featuring tangerine peel, blackberry, Maraschino cherry, and a damp, earthy woodiness derived from aging in traditional dunnage warehouses.

Global production is strictly limited, with only 150 bottles allocated to the Japanese market.
As one of the most refined and complete expressions in the Springbank range, it stands as a culmination of time, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to traditional methods—a true masterpiece that embodies both classic and contemporary Scotch whisky sensibilities.
