クライドサイドからリリースされた、100%ピーテッドモルトの新定番商品、「フォートナイト」。

定番品の「ストブクロス」、シェリー樽熟成の「ナピア」に続いて今回新たな定番品としてリリースされたこの「フォートナイト」は、待望の100%ピーテッドモルトを使用し、リフィルバーボン樽で6年以上熟成、46%で瓶詰めしました。

商品名の「フォートナイト」とは、クライドサイド蒸留所で2週間だけピーテッドモルトを仕込む期間のことを「フォートナイト」と呼んでいることから、そのまま商品名になりました。

テイスティングノート

色は、ペールカラー、香りは優しいスモーク、レモンバーム、バニラ、食パン、味わいは、甘く優しいスモーク、バニラ、シトラス、余韻は、レモンピールのビターが優しく続きます。

The Clydeside Distillery has released a new core expression made from 100% peated malt: Fortnight.

Following the standard expression Stobcross and the sherry cask matured Napier, this new permanent release, Fortnight, is crafted using long-awaited 100% peated malt. It has been matured for more than six years in refill bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV.

The name “Fortnight” comes from the term used at the distillery for the two-week period each year when peated malt is processed. This production window is called the “Fortnight,” which directly inspired the product name.

Tasting Notes

Color: Pale
Nose: Gentle smoke, lemon balm, vanilla, fresh bread
Palate: Sweet, soft smoke with vanilla and citrus notes
Finish: A delicate bitterness of lemon peel that lingers pleasantly.
